Bohl Crane, Inc. was founded

While still offering the simple monorails Henry built his business on, Bohl Crane’s product line now includes specialized monorails, cranes, and engineered lifting devices that can move just about any product manually or automatically. Bohl Crane’s in-house engineering department is on hand to custom design a solution for any application.

I 1952

Bohl Equipment Co. was founded

Following in his father’s footsteps, Richard Bohl founded Bohl Equipment Co. to handle forklift applications. Partnering with Hyster Company, Bohl Equipment became an authorized dealer and has been offering a full line of products ever since. To date, Bohl Equipment is proud to have added the Yale product line to all Ohio and Indiana locations.

Introduction of custom lifting

Bohl began producing high-quality custom lifting equipment and devices to aid our customers in improving safety, ergonomics, and efficiency.

Bohl Machine was founded

With the fourth generation leaping into the technological age, Bohl Machine offers a complete range of machining, fabricating and engineering services.
